Frequently asked questions

What is the Padhantu exam explorer?

It is an interactive map of 1,451 exams in 9 categories, grouped by category and then by country. It lists exams so you can see what exists and where each one fits. Use the Available on Padhantu filter in the explorer to see the exams you can practise here.

How do I find a specific exam?

Type at least two letters of its name or its country into the search box at the top of the explorer and pick it from the list. The map moves to that exam's country and opens its details.

How are the exams grouped?

Each exam sits in one category, such as school or language, and then under the country that runs it. Exams that are not tied to one country are grouped under International.

What does the "Available on Padhantu" filter do?

It shows only the exams you can practise on Padhantu today and marks them on the map.

Can I share what I am looking at?

Yes. The page address updates as you choose an exam or change a filter, so copying the address and sending it opens the same exam and filters.

Does the explorer work on a phone?

Yes. On a smaller screen the filters open from the Filters button and an exam's details open at the bottom of the map.
