Overview
Baltic Way is a team mathematics contest for high-school students from countries around the Baltic Sea region. It began in 1990. Unlike most olympiads, the team works together on one set of solutions. The 2016 host page was read directly; the 2022 host regulations page could not be opened, so the rules below come from reports of it.

Who can take it
Each participating country sends a team of five high-school students. National organisations select the teams.
Exam pattern
The team solves a set of 20 problems together. The 2016 host page gives the length as four hours. Hosts publish their own regulations each year, so check the current host's page for the length.
Rules
Team members may discuss freely.
At most one solution per problem per team, each on a separate sheet, one side only.
Only writing and drawing materials; no calculators, computers or communication devices.
Written questions about the problems are accepted in the first 30 minutes, and the jury decides how to answer.
Important dates
The host and date change each year.
