Who can apply
Titres professionnels can be obtained either by completing a training course with an approved training organisation (including AFPA centres) or through Validation des Acquis de l'Expérience (VAE), which lets anyone with at least one year of relevant professional or voluntary experience apply to have that experience validated against a specific title.
Exam pattern
Assessment is in front of a jury of at least two professionals authorised by the regional labour authority (DDETS/DREETS). Candidates present a professional file, carry out a practical professional situation or project, and are questioned by the jury on their mastery of the skills set out in the title's official reference document (référentiel). VAE candidates prepare a similar file documenting their experience and defend it before the same kind of jury.
How to apply
Training-route candidates enrol with a training organisation delivering the chosen titre professionnel. VAE candidates apply through the relevant DREETS/DDETS or an approved VAE support body, submit their experience file, and are scheduled for a jury session once their file is accepted.
