Overview
Vokalat (وکالت) is the licensed legal-practice profession in Iran, and the entrance exam for it (آزمون وکالت) is how law graduates qualify to begin training as advocates. The main route runs through the Central Bar Association and its provincial bar associations; a separate track for legal advisors and attorneys also exists under the judiciary.

Who can apply
Candidates generally need a law degree (LLB or above) to sit the entrance exam.
After the exam
Candidates who pass the entrance exam go on to a supervised internship period (کارآموزی) under a senior lawyer before being admitted to practise independently as an advocate.
Preparation tips
Confirm which bar track (the Central Bar Association route or the judiciary-affiliated legal advisors route) you are applying through, since each has its own process.
Plan for the internship period after the entrance exam, since passing the exam alone does not grant full practising rights.
