Overview

The Bundeswehr, the German armed forces, selects applicants for military careers in an assessment run at its career centres (Karrierecenter) or at the assessment centre for leaders (Assessmentcenter für Führungskräfte). Computer-based tests (CAT) are one station among several. The official site gives an overview of the stations, but not test content or scoring.

How to apply

For a military career you first need a consultation with the Bundeswehr career advice service. You then assemble your documents with the adviser, who sends them to a career centre or the assessment centre. Civil careers and civil employee jobs use the online application portal, followed by selection including an interview. Advice is available from an office near you or on 0800 9800880, free within Germany.
