Overview
The Takamol Skill Verification Program (SVP) is a skills assessment for workers who want to take certain jobs in Saudi Arabia. It is run by Takamol Holding under its Professional Accreditation programme, which Takamol describes as a Professional Verification Service and a Professional Assessment Service for foreign workers. It tests existing skill only. It does not provide training or jobs.
Details below are the Pakistan route, as published by Pakistan's National Vocational and Technical Training Commission (NAVTTC), which is a partner in the programme. Candidates elsewhere should check the Takamol site for their country.

Who can apply
Skill verification is mandatory only for people going to Saudi Arabia in occupations that Takamol has notified. In Pakistan, a candidate needs a valid Pakistani passport and a CNIC (national identity card). NAVTTC says no other supporting documents are required.
Exam pattern
The candidate picks an occupation (trade) and takes the assessment at an approved test centre. NAVTTC lists 108 approved trades in groups such as automotive, mechanical, civil and construction, electrical, driving, culinary, cleaning services, health and safety, packaging and storekeeping, and tailoring. It does not describe the question format or duration on this page.
Marking and results
On success, the result and certificate are uploaded to the candidate's SVP portal account within 24 hours. NAVTTC reports an overall pass rate of 80% for all assessments up to 30 June 2026. A candidate who fails can book a new appointment on the portal.
Fees
As listed on the NAVTTC page, the assessment fee is USD 85 per test, effective from 9 September 2026, paid online through the SVP portal.
