Overview
The Colegios de Alto Rendimiento (COAR) are a national network of schools of the Peruvian Ministry of Education (Minedu). The only official page opened for this entry is a Minedu press release about what COAR graduates can do next, so this page does not describe how admission to a COAR itself works. The Ministry's own COAR pages could not be read when this page was written.

After COAR
In September 2026, Minedu and the Peruvian Air Force (FAP) signed a cooperation agreement for COAR graduates. They are exempt from the application fee and the entry guarantee fee for two FAP schools: the Escuela de Oficiales Capitan FAP Jose Abelardo Quinones Gonzales and the public aeronautical technical institute IESTP Aeronautico Suboficial Maestro de Segunda FAP Manuel Polo Jimenez.
The conditions are:
the graduate finished the fifth year of secondary school in 2025 or later
the application to the FAP is made within one year of finishing
the graduate applies and wins a place through the regular admission process and merit order
The exemption is not direct entry, a reserved place or an exemption from any test. Graduates still have to pass the academic, medical, physical, psychological and psychotechnical evaluations, and the FAP does not pay for the medical exams.
