Fees
For 2026, PERSAMA institutional members paid RM50 to RM60 per participant, and non-members paid RM120 per group, as stated in the official FAQ.
How to apply
Download the registration form from the OMK site, complete it and email it to the address given in the FAQ, with payment by the deadline.
After the exam
Winners in individual and group categories receive cash prizes and certificates, and all participants receive participation certificates. Since 2022 the Ministry of Education no longer takes part in choosing Malaysia's IMO team from OMK, so OMK does not lead directly to the IMO.
Is OMK the selection round for the IMO?
No. The official FAQ says that since 2022 the Ministry of Education is no longer involved in selecting IMO representatives through OMK.
