Overview

UKMPPD is the Indonesian competency examination for students of the medical profession programme. The national body behind health-worker regulation is the Konsil Kesehatan Indonesia (KKI, the Indonesian Health Council). Its website lists services for registration of medical and health workers, competency tests for medical and health workers, and professional-credit points.

The KKI pages reviewed do not describe the UKMPPD itself, so this page does not state its format, dates, fees or pass rules. Check with your medical school and the KKI before planning.

Exam pattern

A KKI news item from August 2026 describes a review of the equipment needed at the national test centres for a Computer-Based Test (CBT) and an Objective Structured Clinical Examination (OSCE), the latter used for clinical skills. The item does not say how these map onto the UKMPPD.

After the exam

Registration of doctors is handled by KKI through the registration certificate (Surat Tanda Registrasi, STR). The KKI site has a registration service and a public search for registered medical and health workers. Check the KKI for the current registration requirements.
