Questions

Plans, tests, renewal and refunds, answered in a line or two.

Still unsure? Take your free speaking test or contact us.

How long is a live speaking test?
11 to 14 minutes, in the three parts of the real test: a short interview, a long turn on a cue card with a minute to prepare, and a discussion. The examiner listens and replies in real time.
What is in the report?
An estimated band for each of the four criteria and overall, with quotes from your answers and the time each was said, a clickable transcript, your strengths and what to practise next. See a sample report.
How many tests do I need?
Two or three a week is a steady pace before an exam. Pick the plan that matches how many live tests you want each month; you can upgrade any time and this period's unused plan tests move to the new plan.
Can I try before paying?
Yes. Each account can take one live speaking test free, with the full report. Sign in with Google to use it. No card is needed.
Does a mock test use a live speaking test?
Yes. The Speaking part of each full mock is a live speaking test, so it uses one from your plan. Listening, Reading and Writing in a mock do not.
Academic or General Training?
The Speaking test is the same for both. Every plan covers Academic and General Training practice.
What happens to speaking tests I do not use?
Plan tests belong to the plan period they come with. If you upgrade, this period's unused plan tests move to the new plan. Boosters expire when the plan period they were bought in ends.
Are the bands official?
No. Bands are estimates, not official IELTS results.
Can I cancel?
Yes, cancel anytime. Cancel a renewing plan from My plan and it stops renewing; you keep access until the end of the period you have paid for. Plans of 3 months or longer are paid once and never renew.
Are payments refunded?
Access starts as soon as you pay, so payments are not refunded, including the rest of a period after you cancel. We refund in full a duplicate charge, a charge whose access did not start within 24 hours, or an amount charged in error: email us within 7 days with the payment ID. If a live test fails because of a problem on our side, we add it back to your account. Unused tests and Boosters are not refunded in money. See the Cancellation and Refund Policy.
Can I pay in my own currency?
Prices are in Indian rupees while payment in other currencies is being set up. Join the waitlist on this page and we will email you when your currency opens. If you can pay with UPI or an Indian card, you can continue in rupees now.
Is tax added at checkout?
Any tax is shown before you pay.
