(A) (i) The change in curvature of the eye lens helps us in the process of seeing the nearby objects clearly by increasing the curvature of the eye lens. When the ciliary muscles contract, the eye lens becomes thicker, and its focal length decreases. This enables us to see nearby objects clearly.
(ii) The range of the power of accommodation of a normal human eye is from 25 cm to infinity.
